If you have reached this post, I would safely assume that you are seriously thinking of creating your own business online.

1) Before you continue your search I would urge you to stop everything and do the following:

a)You will need to decide on the monthly budget that you can allocate to your business. Do not move a single step before making that decision.

b) Once you make that decision you will need to be desciplined about it. Do not spend over the budget that you have allocated.

But in brief, you will need to find a serious opportunity that is not only good in terms of its business concept but also in terms of the training capabilities that it has for new comers to the market. I was very lucky to find the Plug-in Profit site (PIPS). The benefit of PIPS is not only in its training material, but it also gives you access to a huge number of experienced and welling-to-help members and some of them are gurus in online marketing.

For me PIPS was not a business, it was and still is an Online Business School and that does not stop teaching you new stuff every day. Till this day I have not concentrated at all in Promoting PIPS as a business, although it is a very good business, but my priority was to learn as much as I can about online business.

I guess it is very obvious how strongly I feel, and it is true, about advising anybody who wants to start an online business to start with PIPS.

3) If you decided to follow my advise and start with PIPS, here are the things that you need to know before jumping in:

a) Through PIPS training you will find many great marketing ideas and tools. Its extremely good to know them and no harm in trying them, but you always need to keep your budget infront of you. Do NOT exceed your BUDGET .

b) You need to use your common sense and judgement when choosing which marketing arsenal you are going to use. Don't spread yourself thin and use all of them. If you do that you will find it hard to keep it up on the long run and you will give up very soon.

c) Online business is just like any other business. Nothing happens overnight. It took me two years of learning to feel comfortable with my what I know and make the decision to launch a business. That might not be the same for you, because I was taking it really slow, and my day job takes a lot of my time.

d) Yes I still have my day job, and you should do the same. That is one of the beauties of online business, so use it. You can, and you must, keep your day job until you are comfortable with the income that you are getting from you online busiess.
