If a person never had a panic attack, then it is impossible to understand what it feels like. Many describe it as a terrible feeling, that is for sure an understatement. Yet to be able to know how to control panic attacks, a person must first go through the following steps:

Step 1: If such attacks are frequent then the person must not attempt neither to hide it nor to ignore it

Step 2: A person should not attempt to make a self diagnosis. The panic attack symptoms are shared with other medical conditions and a person must have a proper diagnosis before embarking on a recovery path. Therefore, the step here is to seek professional help immediately.

Step 3: If the diagnosis proves that what you are going through is for sure a panic attack, then the first thing that you will need to learn is to know how to control panic attacks.

Step 4: You should embark on a long term recovery strategy. This involves finding a scientific based natural method that targets the root of the problem.

 

These are the steps in brief. Now we want to explore further steps 3 & 4. Finding a technique that teaches you how to control panic attacks is not easy anymore. What made this task difficult is the abundance of techniques available.

Panic Away

Many of those techniques promote themselves as ones that help control panic attacks, but what their real core is merely some stress release activities that are known to the general public.

You will also find a great confusion in the way anxiety or panic attacks treatments distinguish, or lack of, between presenting techniques to control panic attacks and cure from panic attacks.

The first program uses a technique that is called the “one hand movement.” This technique helps the person anticipate a panic attack before it happens. Of course this happens after mastering the method. Now, the feedback and the reviews that we have read about this program are all positive, it also showed that it helped people overcome their panic attack totally. We are not sure if this means getting rid of panic attacks from its roots, or because of mastering the technique the sufferer is able to catch the attack before it happens. The second program is more of long term solution rather than helping us know how to control panic attacks. It is more helping us to overcome panic attacks totally. This method bases its solution on an agreed upon theory among professionals in the domain that all anxiety related disorders are based in one area in the brain. This method targets this area to solve panic attacks and other anxiety related disorders. This program is called The Linden Method.
