We have looked previously at anxiety definition from different angles. In this article we are going to go further in explaining Anxiety through adding another disorder. In many cases we can better understand a concept if we include additional elements and see how the basic element we are studying acts and reacts with such addition.

In this article we are going to try to better understand anxiety by addition depression into the formula. It is very important to note here that the combination of anxiety and depression are seen to be very serious.

We have found a definition for anxiety that we find very interesting and simple at the same time. The definition explains anxiety as a "heightened state of fearful awareness with heart and thoughts racing."

Now let us look at the definition for depression which states that it is a dulling of all interest and an inability to concentrate. There will be a general feeling of lack of energy, and a real sense of not being able to accomplish anything.

As we can see anxiety is generally defined as excessive energy, while depression is defined as lack of energy. Despite this fact both disorder combined can feed into each other creating a vicious psychological state within a person.

It has also been said that it comes as a surprise to many the fact that while moods created by both disorders are diverse or even opposite to learn how often depression presents itself as a secondary disorder in an person who already suffers chronic anxiety. This causes normal sleep patterns to be seriously disrupted which aggravates the depressive lack of energy, and contributing to more confusing thought patterns.

The information that we collected regarding the combination of anxiety and depression is more than one article can handle. We will come back with more on this subject soon. The combination of these disorders is showing anxiety in action clearer and therefore, we think the definition for anxiety can become better understood.

This stop at this combination acts as smooth transition point between building anxiety definition and moving into understanding the anxiety causes.
