In this article we are going to talk about the second anxiety physical symptom from the list of anxiety symptoms. The first symptom that we talked about was palpitations of the heart. The second symptom which we are discussing in this article is "Sweating." Sweating is usual a normal reaction in our bodies that normally results from situations such as exercising, hot conditions, emotional response from being angry, embarrassed, nervous or afraid. It can also be the result of being anxious which is the main area of our concentration in this article. It has been noticed that sweating is a very common symptom when experiencing anxiety. The explanation is that stress and anxiety triggers the brain to produce the hormones that make a person sweat. The most common way of avoiding this anxiety symptom is to try as much as you can to relax and take your mind away from what ever is causing the stress that originally triggered the brain. It has also been noticed that the sweat triggered varies from one person to another. Some people sweat more than others, and the reason behind this is still a mystery. From the research that we conducted on anxiety symptoms we found a very interesting way of looking and explaining the relationship between anxiety and its symptoms. The thought states that it is normal for a person to experience anxiety and that everyone would go through this experience from time to time. It is the physical symptoms that make the experience scary. Therefore, as long as the thought that is troubling us is in our mind, its fine, but as soon as it triggers the symptoms is when we get really scared out of the experience. Of course the solution is always to get rid of the source of the symptoms than directly dealing with the symptoms. We are going to list now what we found as a list of some common causes of sweating. You will realize after reading the list that it is very similar to the list we have seen when discussing the common causes for heart palpitations (discussed in a previous article.) The list of common causes for sweating is: 1- Anxiety 2- Fear 3- Stress 4- Anger 5- Nervousness 6- Also, certain medications can cause sweating. The same with heart palpitation, sweating can be caused by many medical conditions such as: 1- Cancer 2- Thyroid 3- Heart Disease If a person is experiencing continued sweating the best thing to do is understand the cause of the symptom before making a decision on the course of action to cure it. We hope that we have provided useful and helpful information in our trial to explain sweating as an anxiety symptom.
