The increasing rate of people suffering from anxiety caused a significant increase not only in the number and diversity of anxiety attacks treatments, but also in the number of people who claim expertise in the area. Now anyone who has suffered from anxiety for a period of time has appointed himself/herself as an expert and also a practitioner that can recommend anxiety and panic cures. If we suffer from anxiety it is highly probable that we start meeting people who either experience or have experienced this disorder. In our perception and because of our hunger for a solution we listen to those people as people of authority in the subject. We neglect the fact that those people are only talking about their own specific case which should not at all resemble our own even if there are similarities. If we go one step backward, and look at anxiety from its symptoms perspective, we might find that even if we share the same symptoms with these people we might not be even suffering from anxiety, and what is causing these symptoms is something totally different.
